HOUSTON (March 10, 2005) - Michael Choy has been promoted to vice president, manager of the Glendale (Calif.) National Title Services office of Stewart Title Guaranty Co. He will continue to serve as underwriter for the office.
Choy has approximately 30 years of experience in the title insurance industry, having served in underwriting, claims, title operations, and as county manager, title officer and chief title officer. His experience centered in the San Diego area prior to relocating to the Los Angeles area in 1998 to become an NTS underwriter. Choy joined Stewart in 1996.
A graduate of San Diego State University, Choy has been active with the California Land Title Association (CLTA). He previously served as a member of the CLTA Education, Claims Awareness and Legislative committees.
