National Land Title Insurance Co. adds Stremmel as chief operating officer

National Land Title Insurance Co. has added 20-year title industry veteran Cole Stremmel as its executive vice president and chief operating officer. Stremmel is a second-generation title person from a successful title family. Based in Hoffman Estates, Ill., National Land Title Insurance Co. is an underwriter focused exclusively on independent title agencies.

HOUSTON (Feb. 27, 2007) – National Land Title Insurance Co. has added 20-year title industry veteran Cole Stremmel as its executive vice president and chief operating officer. He will oversee daily operations, evaluate new agent growth opportunities and implement  strategic initiatives for the company.

"We are a relatively small underwriter focused exclusively on independent title agencies," said Stremmel. "We will continue to attract independent agents for National Land Title Insurance Co. by delivering outstanding individual attention, providing advanced technology solutions, and developing forward-thinking products and services to save our agents time and money."

Stremmel most recently spent several years with the LandAmerica Financial Group as a vice president where he held the positions of Midwest operations manager, Denver retail manager and Chicago retail manager. Prior to that time, Stremmel had worked for a number of years with his family’s title insurance company, Real Estate Index (REI) Inc., located in Evanston, Ill.

Stremmel received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School and his MBA from The Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
