HOUSTON - (August 18, 2003) Landata Systems, Inc. recently experienced a significant user increase for its most widely used product, AIM® for Windows®, reaching more than 11,000 users at 1,000 sites. AIM for Windows is a title and escrow production system available for traditional desktop installations or with access on the Internet through Titlelogix®. Landata Systems is a wholly owned subsidiary of Stewart Information Services Corp. (NYSE-STC ).

"Our user base has grown quickly as a result of important new functionality added to our past years' releases," said Sherry Ross, AIM for Windows product manager, Landata Systems, Inc. "We've provided more flexibility in the closing module with the ability to enter up to 20 pay-offs and prorations on some HUD lines, as well as adding the ability to handle yield-spread premiums with ease. Integration with Policy Register and the ability to prepare Rent Statements are also customer favorites."

Sherry Collins, sales distributor manager for Landata Systems, Inc., attributes some of AIM for Windows' widespread growth to the fact that more users are electing to access vital programs on the Internet. Access to AIM for Windows is available online through Titlelogix, Stewart's managed solutions partner (MSP) that is built on an application service provider (ASP) infrastructure.

"Being able to access AIM for Windows via the Internet is particularly attractive for some of our smaller clients," Collins said.

AIM for Windows is a powerful title and escrow system for order entry, document preparation, closing, escrow accounting, file tracking and management.
