HOUSTON (March 7, 2004) - Robert Alcala recently joined Houston-based REIData as senior vice president, director of Market Management, and will be relocating to Houston.

Alcala comes to REIData from MacDonald Dettwiler & Associates (MDA), a Canadian information services company doing business in the U.S. While there, he served in multiple roles, including business development, sales, and most recently as general manager of RapidTract LLC, an automated property information company formed by MDA and LandAmerica Financial Group.
Prior to his tenure with MDA, Alcala had 15 years of experience in the financial services sector. He had most recently served as senior vice president, national vendor manager for Bank of America. Alcala received his education at the California State University at Long Beach.
