Dr. Edward Douglas Hodo is Chairman of the Board for Stewart Information Services Corporation. He also serves as President Emeritus of Houston Baptist University in Houston, Texas. A graduate of the University of Mississippi, Dr. Hodo earned a bachelor of business administration in 1958 after serving two years in the United States Army. He continued his education at the university and received a master of education in personnel guidance, a master of science in banking and finance and a doctorate of philosophy in economics and finance.

Dr. Hodo currently serves as a director of the U.S. Global Investors Funds. He also serves on the Board of Security Bank of Amory, Mississippi. Dr. Hodo has been a Stewart director since 1988.
